Learn how to teach safe, accessible yoga for a wide range of students – including basics, post-injury recovery, and post-COVID students. Build your private yoga teaching skills by personalizing your teaching, and increase your student base by teaching for specialty populations.

Throughout this 25 hour module, we’ll explore:

  • Yoga for beginners & aging populations
  • Chair yoga and prop-assisted yoga
  • General guidelines for back care yoga
  • Modifying yoga for anxiety and depression
  • Teaching private clients – including online
  • “Framing” in yoga during injury recovery
  • Using Ayurveda as an intuitive tool
  • “Red flags” and when to refer out
  • Using the kosha system to care for the whole person
  • Meditation for managing pain
  • Slow Flow – leading a meditative flow, while keeping private clients safe and aware.
  • Breathwork and asana to support COVID-19 prevention
  • Post-COVID19 breath work and asana

Perfect for all teachers who feel called to work with special populations, to contribute their skills to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, and who have experienced the healing power of a yoga practice.
